Sticking only to the facts:
After being rushed to be at out cross country destination, only 3/4 of our items were delivered. The remainder was in storage and we were unable to get a time of delivery for over 2 weeks. We were over charged and their behavior was completely unacceptable. Communication was horrible. Because we weren't part of a large corporate relocation we were not a priority for them at all, and they showed that. We talked with managers and still got no where. Their main priory was getting paid without any customer service or even proper decency. Find someone else to help you with your move!Hey
5. Items lost and damaged.
Shittiest place ever! They have awesome loyal workers but a horrible boss-owner.
3. They did not know where some of our household goods were or when we could expect them to be delivered for over two weeks.
4. Difficult to communicate with. At one point waiting more than a week and a half to receive a reply.
In my opinion, relocations are stressful enough. If you are looking for a relocation company to help take some of that stress away, Mills Van Lines is NOT the company you are looking for. If you are looking for an economical move, Mills Van Lines is NOT the company you are looking for.
1. The actual cost of the move was 17% MORE than estimated, even after we sold most of our furniture, and after we were told by a senior VP that we would not be charged more than estimated. It was also 44% MORE than the industry average (based on an average interstate relocation estimate from the American Moving and Storage Association).

2. They did not plan for enough space on the initial truck so the remainder of our items were picked up in an unmarked truck and shipped to an unknown warehouse. Inventory for those items were written on a spiral notebook.
